24 days

I stole this idea from another blogger, but I thought it was a great idea. Instead of an Advent Calendar, I wrote down 24 little activities for Adam and I to do together.

This also make my blogging really easy for the month of December.

I think this will be a great way to reconnect and I can't wait for Adam to find out the suprises in store for him.

Paris pictures

These pictures look so much better now! My cousin brought me these pictures from France, and they have always been displayed in our home. I can still picture them at our old apartment.

We recently got them framed and matted, and they look so beautiful. I love these pictures, the four directions of the Eiffel Tower, four seasons and different times of day.

Sterling Sunday

He is totally passed out, despite the Christmas music. Plus there is the mess I am making while working on Christmas presents.

Clean closet

We cleaned out Adam's closet today, and now we have two giant bags of clothes and shoes to give to Goodwill. I am so grateful that Adam was willing to humor me and put in the work to go through everything.

So excited for dinner this evening, pork tenderloin and roasted vegetables. I am really excited to try purple potatoes.

I was driving home today, trying to decide what to take a picture of and started thinking about gifts I have received.

This one immediately popped in my head, because it always makes me smile, and I miss my best friend.

I am thankful for my best friend and all the moments we have shared together.

Online games

What did we do before computers, when we don't want to do work or can't sleep?

These are the beads I made with my last canister of gas. It doesn't look like much because they are large and have lots of different colors, so they take some time to make.

I think it is time to start on Christmas gifts! Any requests?

Creepy museum

I was at the museum today for training, it was kinda of creepy being in a closed museum with barely any lights on. But I got to learn new things!

This picture was taken back when we were in Albuquerque, but it still makes me smile.

I wish that we could take Sterling shopping with us!

Frost on my torch

Today I was making beads I was so focused I had no idea how cold the canister was. The longer I work, the colder the canister gets. If the canister gets too cold the output is not longer as efficient and I am wasting gas.

However I was just so focused and enjoying myself that I worked for a long time, there was a coat of frost in the torch when I finally thought to check it. I can't wait to see how the beads turned out.

Zen tangle

A coworker told me about zen tangle. She had just taken a class and described it as awesome doodling. So I looked up a couple of videos and decided to try some of the techniques.

I have been playing with this pattern a lot lately. I wouldn't describe it as doodling, since it still takes me a lot of concentration. But I am so intrigued with this.

There are so many videos on youtube check one out!!

Time for patience and trust.
